Anheuser Busch Brewery Tour
Visit the brewery and also see the famous Clydesdales and their companions, the Dalmatians.

Black American West Museum & Heritage Center
The museum is housed in the former home of Dr. Justina Ford. Denver's first African American doctor . This is a rare collection of photographs, clothing and personal artifacts from the Black pioneers, Buffalo Soldiers, African American cowboys and businessmen who helped settled the West.

Boettcher Museum

Denver Art Museum
This museum has one of the largest collections in the West, with over 60,000 works in Asian art, modern and contemporary, American Indian, pre-Columbian, Spanish Colonial, textile art, European, American and Western artists. Works are displayed in buildings that are architectural art forms. The Frederic C. Hamilton Building (designed by Daniel Libeskind) joined the North Building (designed by Gio Ponti) in 2007.

Denver Botanic Gardens

Many artifacts date from 1866 and include three hand drawn pieces of apparatus known to have been used in Denver, along with two early motorized vehicles. The collection is permanently displayed in a manner to be interesting and educational to all.

Denver Museum of Nature & Science
[Previously known as Museum of Natural History ]
Considered among the world's best collection of dioramas, Explore Colorado received recognition as one of the best exhibits of 1993 by the American Association of Museums. This exhibit uses the latest technology to introduce Museum visitors to the natural settings and wildlife in Colorado. Visitors can also come face-to-face with two 3,000-year-old mummies, discover beautiful coffins and other tomb goods, and get a bird's-eye view of an Egyptian tomb. The Coors Mineral Hall is a world-renowned exhibit known for its gems, gold and minerals ­ particularly those from Colorado ­ which are part of the state's mineral heritage.

Dinosaur Ridge
This is a National Natural Landmark, with over 300 dinosaur footprints. Seventeen interpretive signs along a mile-long path describe and show what dinosaur bones look like while encased in rock. Guided tours may be scheduled by calling informational center

Phoenix Mine
The Phoenix mine is operated by the oldest continuous gold mining family in Colorado; owned and operated by Al and Dave Mosch. It is a working gold mine where miners actually do the work. Wildlife Refuge, Rocky Mountain Arsenal
A former weapon and chemical plant has been willfully changed into a refuge for over 330 species of mammals, birds, fish, reptiles and amphibians. There is a bald eagle viewing station open from Dec. thru mid-March.

Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum
n Hangar No.1 at the former Lowry Air Force Base, the museum displays over three dozen historic airplanes and space vehicles. Included are one of the just two B-1A bombers remaining, a B-18 Bolo, five Century Series fighters, a J-3 Piper Cub, an Alexander Eaglerock built in Colorado, and a Star Wars X-Wing fighter. Nose Art, the History of Avionics, and uniforms and artifacts from both WWI and WWII are featured. Aircraft Cockpit Demo Day 10 a.m.-2 p.m. 2nd Saturday of the month, subject to special events.
